Despite the lack of punctuation on Crane's part, I'm sure most of the people here can appreciate this, so I decided to share.

And Sands, I'm touched. Didn't know you liked me. Just hope you're not screaming out the wrong name or anything over it.

Also, since Crane is the creepy bastard he is, first of all - watch out for a gun. And second of all, I'm making a mental note that taping my cane to the ceiling might not be enough anymore. I've only got so much money for new ones.

Why do you want a cane, anyway? Planning on losing the use of a leg sometime soon, or did someone jut piss you off and usual kitchen knives aren't going to cut it this time (pun entirely unintended)?

If I had a gun which I do I'd advise you to stick yourself to your ceiling and jump down at me when I come in, so I wouldn't have to chase you around.

Only if you're wearing rather loud clothing or you're close to him, I'd think. Besides, knowing him he'd just go for whatever he heard last, so depending on when it lands... And thanks.

Well, it really depends on where he's pointing it. It would be more useful to drop to the floor if he were pointing the gun in my direction. If he were not, though, I would, perhaps, consider hugging him into submission. =) If it worked, it would be lovely.

Well I was assuming you wouldn't be throwing say, a wad of paper (which probably wouldn't fly very far anyway) or maraccas or the like. Gently tossing a coin shouldn't make much sound.

You worry me. But the amount of commas in your third sentence in that paragraph worry me more, so I'm going to nod my head and smile at that answer anyway.

Relax, like I told the split personality one down farther - if Crane gave him a gun, no way in hell it was loaded...or Crane wouldn't have been able to tell me about it. He's probably going to raid my bedroom in the middle of the night again to see if I'll go out and get him some ammo, actually. Fuck.

True, but a gun's mostly useless without bullets. ...of course not. That'd be illegal. Besides, he'd need to think of something equally important to give me, and I doubt there's anything he could think of that would work.

Yeah. I think our only hope is that it's probably not loaded, since if Crane had given Sands a loaded gun, Crane wouldn't have been around to mention it to me.
