Despite the lack of punctuation on Crane's part, I'm sure most of the people here can appreciate this, so I decided to share.

And Sands, I'm touched. Didn't know you liked me. Just hope you're not screaming out the wrong name or anything over it.

Also, since Crane is the creepy bastard he is, first of all - watch out for a gun. And second of all, I'm making a mental note that taping my cane to the ceiling might not be enough anymore. I've only got so much money for new ones.

True, but a gun's mostly useless without bullets. ...of course not. That'd be illegal. Besides, he'd need to think of something equally important to give me, and I doubt there's anything he could think of that would work.

Oh, of course. But he could hit someone with anything metal, really, a gun's not that special except that most people run and scream when you start waving it around.

Just rather odd...and it makes me wonder if I have some underlying complex, but I'm usually too enraptured in sexual pleasure to care about it when it comes up. Good God no. I'm not even going to ask where that assumption came from.

Not so much "witty insults", but...should I just spoil it, then? Might as well, as I can't give any more clues without doing just that.
