fearfearscream (3:02:08 PM): What would you do if Sands got ahold of a gun?

Kishamaru42 (3:02:42 PM): Be very, very quiet.

Kishamaru42 (3:02:43 PM): Of course.

Kishamaru42 (3:03:27 PM): Or throw something in someone else's direction to distract him; would probably work just as well.

fearfearscream (3:03:49 PM): Hmmm, I like that second answer best

Kishamaru42 (3:04:23 PM): I had a feeling you might.

fearfearscream (3:05:00 PM): We've never met and yet you know me so well

fearfearscream (3:05:03 PM): It's kinda creepy

fearfearscream (3:05:26 PM): No wonder Sands likes you, you guys can go off and be creeps together

Despite the lack of punctuation on Crane's part, I'm sure most of the people here can appreciate this, so I decided to share.

And Sands, I'm touched. Didn't know you liked me. Just hope you're not screaming out the wrong name or anything over it.

Also, since Crane is the creepy bastard he is, first of all - watch out for a gun. And second of all, I'm making a mental note that taping my cane to the ceiling might not be enough anymore. I've only got so much money for new ones.

Only if you're wearing rather loud clothing or you're close to him, I'd think. Besides, knowing him he'd just go for whatever he heard last, so depending on when it lands... And thanks.

So his target is easier to hear and aim at? Or would you plan on hugging him into submission?

Oh, but depending on the object, of course, it would make a noise leaving your hand and flying through the air, yeah?

Well, it really depends on where he's pointing it. It would be more useful to drop to the floor if he were pointing the gun in my direction. If he were not, though, I would, perhaps, consider hugging him into submission. =) If it worked, it would be lovely.

Well I was assuming you wouldn't be throwing say, a wad of paper (which probably wouldn't fly very far anyway) or maraccas or the like. Gently tossing a coin shouldn't make much sound.

You worry me. But the amount of commas in your third sentence in that paragraph worry me more, so I'm going to nod my head and smile at that answer anyway.

But a coin may not make enough of a vague sort of noise to warrant attention. Well, maybe. I'm not quite sure, nor am I sure I should ask, either.

Oh, pardon my comma usage. =)

If the metal coin hitting a wood floor doesn't make enough noise, then I think the worry over the sound of you throwing the object itself can be taken out of the equation. ...Though I agree that asking him is probably not the best idea.

Oh, no no, you misunderstand. =) I didn't say it wouldn't make enough noise, I said the noise wouldn't be vague enough. It would be obviously a coin hitting the floor, and not someone moving, necessarily. =)

Hmm. Now that's good point.
Though I suppose if you hit another person with the coin, they'd move in reaction to it.

So just try not to get locked in a room alone with an armed Sands, it seems...though that should be common sense.

Oh, dear, that is completely common sense. Though I don't think he would try to kill me, even if he were armed. =)

But now I've a mental image of you throwing coins at people, and I'm quite amused.
